Sparkling Wine in the Hollywood Fred Meyer

Hey get this.  We now have sparkling wine in the Hollywood Fred Meyer.  So we would like to encourage everyone to support Leslie, the wine steward.  Stop in, say hello and thank her for putting us in her store.  Sparkling wine is especially good with crab, which is now in season.  So make a crab feed: Buy a couple crabs, a bag of salad, a loaf of French bread and a bottle of Laurel Ridge Brut.  Instant Party!!

Please join Barnaby Tuttle, our assistant wine maker, and his wife, Olga, at the Hollywood Fred Meyer where they will be pouring sparkling wine from 2 to 6 on Friday.

Holiday Fun!!!

If you need wine or are looking for something to do with visitors, we will be open extra days this season.  From December 17 to 31 we will be open everyday:  12 to 5 weekdays and 11 to 5 weekends.  Only exceptions are that we will close at 3 on Christmas Eve and all of Christmas Day. 

Wine News

All the 2008s are in barrel.  When we get through the holidays, we are going to start bottling again.  We will have several new wines coming out in the first quarter of 2009.  More about that later . . .

Club Update:  We distributed the second club offering.  The members received recently bottled Zinfandel and 2006 Estate Reserve Pinot (David's) plus Laurel Blanc, the beautiful Sauvignon-Semillon blend.  Winemaker Chris Berg had a good idea.  We will cap the club at about a barrel's worth so that we can reserve the best of the best for club offerings.
