An extremely limited production wine, our Chasselas Doré is a Finn Hill Vineyard estate grape that is the only remaining half acre from our initial planting in 1980. These vines are celebrating their 40th year in 2020 and we feel lucky to be able to continue to produce this unique and wonderful wine from the own-rooted vines. This Swiss-Austrian varietal is a delicate, dry white wine with a distinctive floral aroma that smells like an alpine meadow, fresh and full of wildflowers. This wine is dry and very nicely balanced with delicate, fresh flavors that make it a joy to drink.
The 2018 vintage greets you with a fresh bouquet of honeycomb and honeysuckle, with a whisper of peach and nectarine on the palate. With a mouth feel evocative of golden elixir, the spectacular finish will leave you daydreaming of how the earth smells right after the first spring rain.
Crisp and refreshing, made in 100% stainless steel.
