Kira is the oldest daughter of Laurel Ridge founders, David and Susan. Kira spent her formative years playing barrel monkey in the Laurel Ridge cellar, picking buckets of grapes during harvest and teaching people how to pronounce Gewürztraminer in the tasting room. Always having a keen interest in business, Kira fittingly chose to study Art History and Political Science at Portland State University. Getting back to her roots, she is now Laurel Ridge’s business development whiz, and has made a home for herself managing the sales channels and winery marketing. She is passionate about continuing her father’s wine-making legacy and creating a sustainable future for the family farm and business. When not in the tasting room or playing with the winery pups, you can find Kira in the garden or kitchen getting creative and enjoying a glass of Pinot Noir.
